Yea, the biggest complaint or discussion point is all that white space between the conversation stream and the right side bar.There are tons of stories on it, see those stories at Techmeme.Forum discussion at Google+ Help and WebmasterWorld.I like the new layout, especially since I can control the side bar. I agree about the white space though. It looks like they forgot to put something there.
Im really surprised the released it like this, with all the extra white space. They should have made it easier to embed their other services like Google Reader, Gmail, or Calendar to fill in the space.
